Datadog have expanded their product line substantially over the last few years, but accessibility testing is still notably absent. Their Synthetics product includes end-to-end testing, however this does not include any accessibility testing out of the box, and hand-writing accessibility tests is unfeasible for most teams.

Here at A11y Pulse, we’re big fans of Datadog and use several of their products on a daily basis. One of the top items on our 2026 roadmap is an integration that would send your A11y Pulse metrics directly into Datadog. We believe this would make it significantly easier for Datadog customers to include automated accessibility testing as part of their workflows.
For now, teams using Datadog who want automated accessibility testing will need a dedicated accessibility platform alongside their existing observability tooling. Datadog excels at performance and reliability monitoring, but accessibility still requires specialist tools to catch issues automatically and at scale.
If you’re already using Datadog and looking to add automated accessibility testing into your workflow, A11y Pulse is designed to slot in alongside your existing tooling. This will become even more seamless, with deeper integrations coming soon.
