A11y PulsevsSkynet Technologies

Daily scans on every plan,
just the scanner.

Skynet pairs a cheap entry tier with weekly-to-quarterly scan cadence and an overlay widget marketed alongside the scanner. A11y Pulse runs daily on every plan, ships no JavaScript to your visitors, and the free trial doesn't ask for a credit card.

What is Skynet Technologies?

Skynet Technologies is a long-running web services company with a broad product suite. Accessibility scanning sits alongside their All in One Accessibility widget, VPAT preparation, and remediation engagements. The widget is the centrepiece of their marketing; the scanner is its own subscription. The scan cadence and how the scanner fits into their wider accessibility offering are the things to watch.

Why teams switch to A11y Pulse

Three reasons the cheap entry tier isn't the whole story

Skynet's headline price is competitive. The scan cadence, the path from issue to fix, and how the scanner plugs into your developer workflow are where the two products diverge most.

1

Cadence

Daily, not weekly or quarterly

Skynet's lower tiers run weekly, monthly, or quarterly. For any team practising continuous deployment, weekly is the floor of what's useful and quarterly is too slow to catch a regression before users do.

Every page, every day

2

Focus

Built around the fix, not just the report

A11y Pulse is designed end-to-end around getting issues fixed. Every violation lands in a triage-first dashboard with the failing element, the WCAG rule it breaks, and clear remediation guidance you can act on.

Triage, then fix

3

Workflow

Issues into your IDE, not just your dashboard

A11y Pulse ships an MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot. The agent already coding in your editor can pull the latest violations, trace each failing element back to its source component, and propose the fix, no copying issue details out of a dashboard.

Where we fit

A scanner that runs every day, on every plan

A11y Pulse runs axe-core plus our own audits daily in real Chrome, so JavaScript-rendered pages and authenticated flows are covered. Results land in a triage-first dashboard, and an MCP server pipes the same detail into Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for fixes directly in your editor.

  • axe-core plus our own audits
  • Unlimited manual rescans for verifying fixes
  • Scripted authentication for pages behind a login
  • Email, Slack, and Microsoft Teams alerts on regression
  • MCP server so Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot can fix issues in your IDE
